Turn! Turn! Turn!

To everything there is a season...

I guess this is our time to dance and laugh.

To those of you that 'tossed' the prayers, thank you! If you don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain. I requested prayers a few weeks ago but I didn't give any information as to why. We couldn't disclose why at the time.

Mark has been trying to get an interview with Google for quite some time. After months and months, he finally landed an interview with the company. Yesterday, we was offered the position! He is really excited about the opportunity and I am very proud of him. Not because he got the job; because he worked so hard and was so persistent in his endeavors.

He changed jobs in April and it was very difficult for him to leave his current employer. However, my Dad reminded me that you usually don't regret the things you do. It's the things you don't do that you regret the most. On our evening walk the other day, Mark said that he didn't want to look back in 10 or 20 years and wonder what it would have been like if he had worked for Google. I think that's enough of a reason to take this opportunity!

In addition, Chloe and I took a trip to League City to see Shorty and Pop! We had soooo much fun. Thanks for letting us crash your pad, Mom and Dad.

It was Chloe's first time to be in the pool. Don't worry. The water was 'bath tub' warm and she was only out there for a few minutes so she didn't get sunburned. Here are some pictures from the trip. Enjoy!!

  3. I'm so excited for all of you. Great opportunity. I love the "little bitty polka dot bikini" on her. I'm glad she got to wear it. I was worried about her daddy letting her show so much skin, lol. She is precious.

  4. Great news about Google. Diane told me they had Kim and Chloe for a visit. The swimsuit and hat were just so cute and gave her protection from the sun while in the water. Kim and Diane looked real good too. Craig had to have his special time with her too.Proud of you Mark and wish you much success with the new job. I guess Chloe was glad to get to be with Shorty and Pop.
