Broccoli Wars and The Chloe Crawl

I have two videos to share.

The first is Chloe eating broccoli and she's going to let you know what she thinks about it. It really is super funny (to me at least).

The second is her learning to crawl. I am soooo excited that we got it on camera! I'm even more excited that Mark was home to see it!! She did it tonight right after we got her out of the bath and into her jammies. I was beginning to think that Chloe was the only 7 month old that wasn't crawling. Now I can relax a little or maybe not. Guess I shouldn't have put off baby proofing?

  3. I didn't see you spit the broccoli out so maybe it wasn't so bad after all. You put on a good show crawling. You catch on so fast. Start putting up high safety walls . There is no keeping her still anymore. Chloe is on move and is loving it. She will soon be climbing. The show has begun.

  4. Yay Chloe! Wow, after watching th4 videos, I love her cheeks! She has cheeks like julianna that you just want to squeeze! haha!
She is getting around so good. I will admit I am slightly jealous - my daughter is not even interested in crawling or getting around - bummer. I know I shouldn't thnk like that... but I can't help it. LOL.
Love the broccoli! Did you just steam ir so it was super-soft? Or did you puree it? It was hard to tell. I wouldn't mind trying some with Jules.
    Yayyy to Chloe again!! :)

  5. Skye, I saw Julianna's cheeks the other day and thought...'they could be sisters.' haha. She'll figure the crawling out...I didn't think Chloe would do it either. She's so content to sit and play with her toys.

I boiled the broccoli in a saucepan for about 15 minutes and then pureed it in my blender. I had to add a bit of the cooking liquid (water) to get it the right consistency. It was super easy!

  6. I showed my husband the videos last night and he was 'oohing' and 'awwing' - he thought Chloe's cheeks were so cute (Jul's sister!)- he was laughing at the crawling video - I hope julianna just decides to crawl one day like your little girl did! :)
Gonna try the brocoli thing for sure - that sounds easy enough! Thx! :)
