Watermarked images and a new house

I've been on a bit of a mission. I've been trying to create a watermark for my photos. Which explains why the blog has been down for a week or so...Find out why it was so urgent for me by visiting Skye's blog.

There are a couple of reasons it took a while. One, we are moving!!! The house is sold (unless the closing falls through). Two, I couldn't figure out how to create an easy to use watermark. I was finally able to find a decent tutorial for Gimp.

I haven't been able to watermark all my images. I've been blogging for so long that it will take a while to go back and replace all my images with watermarks. To be honest, I'm not sure that's a good use of my time anyway. I have watermarked all the recent posts that show up on my homepage. That's a start, right?

Back to moving: I'm excited to start sharing before and after photos. The house we are buying is very plain jane. It needs quite a bit of updating; although, it is extremely clean and ready for occupancy. So get ready for a home tour and home improvement posts!! My guess is that will start around October!

Here she is! The new house.

  1. Can't wait to see the inside of the house. I really like the exterior. I also like your watermark on the photos. I need to do it on mine too when I finally do another post. lol

  2. Oh yay - glad to see my post helped and it is scary - but I did not go back and watermark the old stuff- I just do not have the time for that- who does?? Like you said!
The new house looks great! I love the green lawn! I can't wait to see pics of the new place for real! Soon!! Ad good luck with finalizing everything - it is a rough and stressful process to say the least!

  3. I adore the new home and yard. The driveway will be used by lots of family and friends. Hope your family will get to move real soon.
