Still no Camera

Sorry. I still can't post the pictures of the bathroom. I know you can't wait...

Other than that, we haven't had a whole lot going on around here.

I guess I can tell you that I've changed my bookworm ways. I used to buy a new book about once or twice a week. It was getting kind of expensive so I went to get a library card. We can rent movies there, too. I think we're going to save quite a bit of money that way (which is good right now). I recommend any of you out there that like to read to get a library card. Not only are you saving money but you are helping the environment. I really prefer to buy them because I treat my bookshelf like a trophy case. It's nice to be able to look back and see all of the literature that I've read. Maybe I'll put it in a spreadsheet instead...I know I'm a nerd.

I've run 10 miles in the past 3 days. It's felt pretty good but I have the biggest knots in my calf muscles.

Let's see...what else? Mark and I are going to celebrate Valentines Day tomorrow. He has to go to College Station this weekend for a lacrosse tournament. I'll be staying in ATX to celebrate my little brother's 23rd birthday! That makes me feel kind of old. We're gonna have a brother/sister weekend.

We tried a new church out on Sunday before going to San Marcos for a lacrosse game. It was a Methodist Church down the street. I grew up in an interdenominational church but was primarily raised with Baptist views. If you know me very well, you know I don't put a whole lot of stock in the different doctrines. I'd rather not sweat the small stuff as long as you have the important things covered...everybody has their own interpretation anyway. The Methodist Church is a pretty good medium between Episcopalian (Mark's background) and mine. I think we are going back the Sunday after next.

I think that's about it for now. Sorry for the randomness. Have a Happy Valentines Day!!!

  1. I hope you get your camera working soon. I want to see photos. Josh said the bath looked good.

Celebrating Valentines on Thursday was a great idea. Restrauants are ununally crowded on Valentines kind of like church on Easter. You probably were able to have a more relaxed dinner.
